| Cognition started just outside Oslo in Norway, 2005. Cognition was born out two things. 1) Jon's need to express another side of his musical visions than what he was doing at the time in his Doom Metal band, 2) Jon's sickness with the endless repetition and lack of identity in the musical scene. "This is not easy to put into a genre. One could say that it's electronica with metal or metal with electronic, call it what you want.
